Module 7 – Waiting for the Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
(1 Cor. 1:1-9) - Derek Prince – David Wilkerson

AIEDP The First Church (5) – The same for us Today

In concluding this week’s teaching, Derek stresses that same elements that were in the early church are for the church today, both collectively and individually. We have a King who is coming back and it is up to us to proclaim that Jesus is alive, ruling in our midst. As we do, the Holy Spirit will confirm our witnessing with power.

AIEDP The First Church (4) – Expecting the King’s Return

Today we look at what the return of Jesus meant to the believers of the early church. Derek points to their motivation in preparing for Him —joy in having done their task, being blameless and holy, looking forward to their reunion with others who had died. Because of His return, there would be a higher plane and future age.

The early church proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God —that Jesus was resurrected as King. This didn’t sit well with the political and religious leaders of that time and continuously caused problems. The real problem, though, was that the church was right and the religious leaders needed to listen and to bow their knees.

Today Derek speaks on the supernatural power the church received when the Holy Spirit was poured out. A whole new way of praying and preaching began. Praying that shook buildings and got results. Preaching that was done in power and conviction. The normal Christian life was a supernatural life!

This week Derek looks at the first church to see what our God-given standard should be. Today he focuses on what it is to be a witness. From personal experience the apostles told what they knew about the resurrection of Jesus and what it meant to them. This is what someone who has encountered the living Christ can do —tell others about their own personal experience with Him.

1982 A1EDW  BECAUSE YOU HAVE LEFT YOUR FIRST LOVE
 (REV. 2 : 4) – David Wilkerson
Repent, and do the first works, or else…..

Prophesy delivered by David Wilkerson, set as a Watchman over the Israel of God (Ezekiel 33 : 6 – 13, Hebrews 3 : 6) to all the leadership and all the people associated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada on the occasion of the 1982 general conference at the end of his message ‘The Redeemer is coming to Zion’, which went like this:
‘We have got men so busy running around the world trying to win the kingdom for God. But where are those, where are those who shut themselves in, who hear the sound of the trumpet? You understand, people, you and I are not ready, you are not ready! Now, folks I can say some things and that’s because I have nothing left to lose, I have nothing to prove to anybody. I have already received my divine detachment.
We are here now in his unbelievable presence, and I will bring you what I feel the Holy Spirit told me to tell you. That’s the reason I came. Maybe you are not relating to everything that I am saying, yet. It refers to the Pentecostal Assemblies of God in Canada. If all the leaders and all the pastors and all the people, unless you and I repent, he is going to remove your candlestick. He is going to remove it, and he will pick him up a people who are given totally to his love. You put away your professionalism,  you get back to the cross, you get back to the secret closet. You humble yourself, you get back to the meekness that you once knew. You get back to His sense of   S o v e r e i g n t y   saying not my will anymore but yours!

Please be advised that David Wilkerson stands by everything he preached in the sermon you asked about, "The Redeemer Is Coming to Zion."

Thanks for your inquiry.

A1EDP03 Love is a Decision – Derek Prince
https://www.derekprince.org/
In today’s session Derek looks at the kind of love we have for God—a love that is a decision we need to make, rather than an emotional feeling. It can be a personal decision or a corporate one where we all decide to love one another. And we are to love one another from a pure heart, fervently. This is only possible because we have been born of the seed of the Word of God.

A1EDP Looking for a Church? – Derek Prince

9 questions to ask From: Marriage Covenant

and also from: Rejection - Cause and Cure CD042

1. Do they honor and uplift the Lord Jesus Christ?

2. Do they respect the authority of Scripture?

3. Do they make room for the moving of the Holy Spirit?

4. Do they exhibit a warm and friendly attitude?

5. Do they seek to work out their faith in practical, day-to-day living?

6. Do they build interpersonal relationships among themselves that go beyond merely attending services?

7. Do they provide pastoral care that embraces all your legitimate needs?

8. Are they open to fellowship with other Christian groups?

9. Do you feel at ease and at home among them?

If the answer to all or most of these questions is “yes,” you are getting warm. Continue to seek God, however, until you receive definite direction from Him. Remember that you will not find “the perfect group.” Furthermore, even if you did, you could not join it, because after you did, it would no longer be perfect! …In Psalm 27:4, David gave utterance to the deepest longing of his soul: One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.… Do these words of David express the deep longing of your soul? If so, why not echo them in a prayer of your own? Once again, if you feel able to pray in your own words, do that. But if you prefer a prepared prayer, you may use the following:

Lord, I am lonely and unfulfilled, and I acknowledge it. I long to “dwell in Your house”—to be part of a spiritual “family” of committed believers. If there are any barriers in me, I ask You to remove them. Guide me to a group where this longing of mine can be fulfilled, and help me to make the needed commitment to them. In the name of Jesus, Amen

Module 6 – Invited to Walk with God – Derek Prince

A1EDP Invited to Walk with God

Today Derek begins a study on agreeing with God. To agree means to harmonize our ways and thoughts to God’s. God has said in His Word that His thoughts are not ours and His ways are higher than ours. Since God does not change, then it is up to us to agree or harmonize with God. We need to line up our ways and thoughts to His.

A1EDP Confronted with the Truth

Derek looks into the life of David, from Psalm 51, to show us that even godly men such as he were capable of falling into sin. When confronted with sin, David saw his miserable state and his need for salvation and cleansing. He knew his only help was in God, and he was wise enough to humble himself and seek God for it.

A1EDP Love Provokes Love

How does God’s agape love work in our lives? Derek helps us to see that we cannot move in God’s love until it has first been birthed within us by the Holy Spirit. Then, as we get to know the One who has given us this love, we can come to know and experience God’s love in our lives. There is much more to it than we can imagine, but eventually it will flow out from us to others.

A1EDP Healing Power of God’s Love

In today’s session, Derek provides Scriptures that address God’s ability to bring healing to hearts wounded by rejection. There are wounds of feeling unwanted, unloved, uncared for, unappreciated, or losing God’s perspective of one’s own value. Derek especially looks at two primary areas where rejection occurs—between a husband and wife, and that of a child from his or her parents.

A1EDP Agape Love

Derek’s study today goes into more detail regarding agape love. Agape love is self-giving, it goes the second mile, it is unconditional, and it is perfectly demonstrated in Jesus. Finally, we must see that love proceeds out of faith. The death of Christ would accomplish God’s purposes, based on both God’s faith and Christ’s faith.

A1EDP 4272 The Climax Of Life's Destiny, Part 4 of Who Am I?

Psalm 133: Behold, how good and how pleasant

it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
It is like the precious ointment upon the head,
that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's
beard: that went down to the skirts of his
garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the
dew that descended
upon the mountains of Zion: for there
 the Lord commanded
the blessing, even life for evermore.
