Subject: The Prophets and Judges removed from the Land
In Isaiah 3:1-2 God is warning his people that judgment is coming to the land and one of the things He said is that He was about to remove the prophets and the judges. God starts by saying that He will take away the stock and the store as well as the whole supply of bread and water in verse 1. It's hard to imagine that we could ever face such difficult times in our country but I imagine it was just has hard for Jerusalem and Judah to believe, in fact, with them as well it wasn’t a message that they wanted to hear either but it didn’t stop it from coming.
I want to look at taking away the Judge for just a moment before we move onto the Prophet. The Judge is a symbol for justice, which is very hard to find in our modern culture. We have turned away from Gods law unto the rule of man and sadly for the most part we have let this happen. As the foundational beliefs of our country have been stripped away by liberal humanistic judges and lawmakers vowed to take us into a godless nation, the church has slept. Could this be the reason for the successes of the enemy? I think so. But what I want you to consider, have the Godly Judges been taken from the land already? I think it's worth thinking about and praying over, could we be this close to judgment? I think the case can be made, look at Isaiah 1:2-4 and Isaiah 2:5-8 do you see anything that resembles our culture? Let's look at another, Isaiah 3:13-15 another comparison that rings true. We have devastated the vineyard and plundered the poor. Idolatry is rampant in our land and we are blind to it even in our own house. Our land is full of gold and silver and it has replaced the fear of the Lord in our life, there truly is no end to our treasure. Could this be why the judges have been removed that will rule with justice?
Let's move on to the Prophets, where have they gone? Where are the men of God that speak truth without compromise or the fear of consequence? Where are the men with faces set like flint to the cause of Christ? They are gone and have been replaced by humanistic people pleasers without any fear of God. Today we have the most educated well-equipped preachers that we have ever had in history and the greatest lack of truth and faith than ever before. I ask again where are the Prophets of God that fear God? I know that God has a remnant that has not bowed their knee. I believe that we must rise and join together setting aside any motives other than the cause of Christ. As for myself I must confess that I have failed to do my part and have taken several trips around Mt Sinai that I didn’t need to take. The distractions of this world are overwhelming but not an excuse for being sidetracked from the purpose of God.
We must identify the faults within our self and ask for forgiveness from the Lord and healing so we can fight the good fight without fear. A lot of what holds me back is the release of all that I am or all that I could ever hope for to Jesus, sounds silly but I still struggle. I have had a lot of shortcomings and failures along my journey and if not careful they can keep me from pressing forward. This must be put behind and left there to advance in the Kingdom. We are already in this season of judgment and must understand this is not a future event but a present reality! Look at Isaiah 3;4-5 the Word says I will make youths their leaders and the unstable will govern them. Can you see this reflected in our country’s leadership, it's already here and still we sleep. Don’t get me wrong this is not political, I know the only answer for this land is Jesus but for Him to manifest His bride must get clean. I believe that God will give us signs in current events to warn us where we are in time and they are shouting at us now to repent and stand for Christ.
Again I ask where are the Prophets who are willing to risk all to gain Christ? Many are comfortable and afraid to rock the boat, but I believe that God is about to awaken us to repent! Look at Isaiah 1:16-18 as the Lord shouts to us Wash yourselves, cleanse yourselves, remove your evil deeds from my sight. Stop sowing evil, learn to do what is good. Seek justice, correct the oppressor. Defend the rights of the fatherless. Plead the widow’s cause.
It's time for us to wash ourselves and cleanse ourselves, I’m asking God to tear out everything in me that is not godly. I’m at the point that I would rather die than go on living half-halfheartedly. I'm doing inventory of my life with the Holy spirit to find every evil deed so I can put it out of my life once and for all. I cannot go another minute without the power and peace of God ruling my life. This has caused me to dig deep into my heart to the place that only God and I can go and although very painful it’s also refreshing. We must learn to do good in all things all the time! I am reading the Sermon on the Mount everyday and comparing my life to what Jesus said to do and after 10 straight days I’m undone and desperately lacking. The brokenness is overwhelming but still is bringing me peace. Jesus meant those things He said in the Sermon on the Mount and expects us to live them, no more excuses!
Seek justice! This causes you to go against the grain and causes very hard reaction from the enemy. Injustice is all around us friends and as a matter of fact we have grown accustomed to it, in fact it is the norm. When you see justice you will find a fight.
Correct the oppressor! This also comes with a price, in fact, many of us will be jailed for the truth and not in the distant future but now. Are we willing? Can we correct all the oppression around us? The Lord instructs us too and we must act without fear of retribution.
Defend the rights of the fatherless and plead the widow’s cause! This should be second nature to us but sadly we have also neglected the importance that Jesus puts on this subject. We do a lot of work in these areas already but not what the Lord expects. I repent of all the works that I have done that are self-directed instead of God ordained and ask the Lord to direct my paths.
I believe that we are in the days of judgment, they have come upon us while we slept just as our Lord said they would but it is not to late to awake and become the spotless bride.
Isaiah 1:19 gives us the promise that if we are willing and obedient we will eat the good things of the land.
I’ve been willing and not obedient as well as obedient and not willing nether will bring about the favor of God, we must be both. Are you willing and obedient? If not are you ready to be? I ask you to pray and seek the Lord for your answers and I would also like to hear from you guys, as I believe that we must unite the fight. I want to connect to others in this land and abroad that are willing to forsake all to live for Christ. The harvest is truly white but the laborers are few. I also would like to ask for anyone that I have wronged in anyway to let me know. I don’t want spot nor blemish left unclean.
I will close with this, Isaiah 1:18 Come let us discuss this says the Lord, though your sins are scarlet they will be white as snow: though they are red as crimson they will be as wool.

Dakar — Laurent Gbagbo devrait contrôler ses partisans et l'ONU devrait intervenir pour mettre fin aux nombreux meurtres
Les forces de sécurité sous le contrôle de Laurent Gbagbo, ainsi que les milices qui le soutiennent, ont commis depuis fin novembre 2010 des exécutions extrajudiciaires, des actes de torture et des viols, et ont procédé à des disparitions forcées, a déclaré Human Rights Watch aujourd'hui.
Une enquête approfondie sur les exactions perpétrées dans la capitale commerciale de la Côte d'Ivoire, Abidjan, a révélé une campagne souvent organisée de violences visant les membres des partis politiques d'opposition, les groupes ethniques du nord du pays, les musulmans et les immigrés des pays ouest-africains voisins, a indiqué Human Rights Watch. Gbagbo a revendiqué la présidence à la suite des élections contestées de novembre, et il conserve le contrôle des forces de sécurité à Abidjan.
« Les forces de sécurité et les milices qui soutiennent Laurent Gbagbo font régner la terreur parmi ses opposants réels ou supposés à Abidjan », a déclaré Daniel Bekele, directeur de la division Afrique à Human Rights Watch. « La communauté internationale doit faire tout son possible pour protéger les civils et renforcer les pressions sur Gbagbo et ses alliés, afin de mettre un terme à cette campagne de violence organisée. »
Les chercheurs de Human Rights Watch se sont entretenus avec plus de 100 victimes et témoins des violences, notamment des meurtres perpétrés par des membres des milices avec des briques et des matraques, et des agressions sexuelles commises sous les yeux de membres de nombreuses familles. Les témoins ont décrit la façon dont des proches ou des voisins ont été traînés hors de leurs maisons, des mosquées, des restaurants, ou des rues et forcés à monter dans des véhicules qui attendaient. Nombre de ces personnes ont été « disparues », et certaines victimes ont été retrouvées mortes.
De nombreux témoins ont déclaré avoir reçu des appels paniqués de la part de proches qui avaient été arrêtés par les milices ou par les forces de sécurité. Au bout de plusieurs jours de recherche, certaines personnes ont trouvé leurs proches dans des morgues, leurs corps criblés de balles dans un grand nombre de cas. L'une de ces personnes s'est vu présenter une photographie du corps d'un membre de sa famille déposé sur une pile d'autre corps, dans un dépôt d'ordures. Plusieurs femmes ont signalé avoir subi des viols collectifs perpétrés par des membres des forces de sécurité lors de raids conjoints de la police et des milices sur les quartiers d'Abidjan où les habitants avaient largement voté pour Alassane Ouattara, l'adversaire de Gbagbo.
Les exactions ont commencé juste avant le second tour de l'élection présidentielle le 28 novembre, qui opposait Ouattara à Gbagbo. La communauté internationale - notamment l'Union africaine, l'organisme régional de la Communauté économique des États de l'Afrique de l'Ouest (CEDEAO), l'Union européenne et les Nations Unies - a reconnu presqu'unanimement Ouattara comme le vainqueur et a appelé Gbagbo à se retirer.
D'après les informations recueillies par Human Rights Watch dans divers quartiers d'Abidjan, les pires violences commises par les forces de sécurité et les milices se sont produites dans les quartiers d'Abobo, de Port-Bouët, de Yopougon et de Koumassi, tous fortement peuplés par des partisans de Ouattara et par des immigrés d'autres pays d'Afrique de l'Ouest. Les exactions se sont poursuivies tout au long de la période qui a suivi l'élection, y compris pendant l'enquête menée par Human Rights Watch.
Toutefois, les pires violences ont été commises à la suite d'événements politiques critiques - notamment la proclamation le 2 décembre des résultats électoraux ; une manifestation le 16 décembre des partisans de l'opposition appartenant au Rassemblement des Houphouëtistes pour la démocratie et la Paix (RHDP) pro-Ouattara ; et les meurtres les 11 et 12 janvier à Abobo de sept policiers.
Aucun des incidents étudiés par Human Rights Watch au cours desquels les forces de sécurité ont perpétré des exactions n'a été précédé, semble-t-il, par des violences commises par les victimes à l'encontre de ces forces. Toutefois, le 16 décembre, des manifestants pro-Ouattara ont brûlé à mort un policier en civil après qu'il eut, selon les témoignages recueillis par Human Rights Watch, ouvert le feu sur les manifestants, en tuant au moins deux et en blessant plusieurs autres. En outre, au moins sept policiers ont été tués à Abobo par des agresseurs non identifiés - dont des fonctionnaires du gouvernement Gbagbo affirment qu'ils sont des partisans de Ouattara. Human Rights Watch n'a pas reçu de témoignages faisant état de meurtres ou d'exactions systématiques commis par des partisans de Ouattara contre ceux de Gbagbo ; cependant de nombreux partisans de Gbagbo vivant dans des quartiers qui sont des bastions pro-Ouattara auraient pris la fuite, de peur des violences.
Human Rights Watch publiera un rapport complet sur les résultats de son enquête, mais recommande d'ores et déjà une action internationale immédiate pour protéger les civils et veiller à ce que les auteurs des exactions décrites soient traduits en justice.
Attaques de la part des milices pro-Gbagbo
Des témoins ont indiqué à Human Rights Watch avoir vu des hommes battus à mort à coups de briques, de matraques et de tronçons de bois, ou abattus par des membres de milices pro-Gbagbo qui avaient établi des postes de contrôle officieux. De nombreux habitants ivoiriens originaires du Mali et du Burkina Faso ont aussi indiqué avoir été pris pour cible par les milices. Une personne originaire d'un pays voisin et vivant à Abidjan a été brûlée à mort et deux autres sont presque mortes sous les coups le 3 décembre, alors que les habitants célébraient ce qu'ils pensaient être la victoire présidentielle de Ouattara.
Les chercheurs de Human Rights Watch ont recueilli des témoignages sur les meurtres d'au moins 13 hommes à des postes de contrôle mis en place par des milices pro-Gbagbo. Dans de nombreux cas, des témoins ont affirmé que des policiers, des gendarmes et autres membres des forces de sécurité avaient activement pris parti pour les milices, soit en assistant à leurs exactions sans intervenir, soit en s'exprimant ouvertement en faveur des meurtres pendant ou après qu'ils aient eu lieu, soit même en tirant sur les corps des victimes. Nombre des meurtres ont eu lieu à quelques mètres à peine d'un poste de police. Les forces de sécurité n'ont rien fait pour désarmer et arrêter les membres des milices, encore moins pour enquêter sur les crimes. Les témoins ont indiqué que pendant les descentes dans les quartiers et en réponse aux manifestations des partisans de Ouattara, les milices pro-Gbagbo ont aidé les forces de sécurité, tirant parfois sur les manifestants non armés avec des AK-47, des pistolets et des fusils de chasse.
La plupart des meurtres commis par les milices ont eu lieu en plein jour lors de périodes de tension politique. Les victimes ont habituellement été stoppées à des postes de contrôle mis en place illégalement par des milices et ont reçu l'ordre de montrer leurs papiers d'identité. Si les hommes des milices jugeaient d'après le style d'habillement de la personne ou bien son nom qu'elle était musulmane ou appartenait à un groupe ethnique qui avait tendance à soutenir Ouattara, les hommes des milices l'encerclaient, l'accusant d'être un « manifestant » ou un « rebelle », et la frappaient à mort à coup de barres de fer, de tronçons de bois et de briques.

PARIS — On leur prête le pouvoir de faire et défaire les gouvernements, de lever une armée ou de détenir les clés du trésor: ange noir ou fidèle béquille, les épouses des présidents africains, de Leïla Ben Ali à Simone Gbagbo, occupent un rôle de premier plan, le plus souvent dans l'ombre.
Peu connue à l'étranger mais autant haïe que redoutée en Tunisie, Leïla Trabelsi, seconde épouse du président déchu Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, a en quelques jours été propulsée en tête de liste de ces femmes d'influence.
Comme l'Ivoirienne Simone Gbagbo ou la Rwandaise Agathe Habyarimana, elle symbolise la face sombre d'un régime de fer. Mais ce qui la distingue est sa capacité à s'être bâti en 18 ans (depuis son mariage avec Ben Ali en 1992) un empire que d'autres auront mis une vie entière à construire.
Coiffeuse, devenue "régente" selon le journaliste Nicolas Beau, elle est accusée d'avoir pillé son pays en érigeant la corruption en mode de gouvernement, favorisant systématiquement les membres de sa famille.
En novembre 2007, Souha Arafat, veuve du leader palestinien et ancienne intime de Leïla Trabelsi, affirme à l'ambassadeur américain à Tunis que "diminué par un cancer", Ben Ali fait "tout ce que sa femme lui dit de faire", selon un câble révélé par WikiLeaks.
Lundi, trois jours après la chute de Ben Ali, son dernier Premier ministre Mohammed Ghannouchi lâchait avoir eu "l'impression" que la Première dame dirigeait le pays dans les derniers temps.
Pour un responsable français s'exprimant sous couvert d'anonymat, "Mme Ben Ali a probablement fait sombrer le régime de son mari".
Ce rôle d'"ange noir" a souvent été associé au nom d'Agathe Habyarimana, épouse du président hutu rwandais dont l'assassinat en 1994 fut l'élément déclencheur du génocide contre les Tutsi. Aujourd'hui réfugiée en France, elle est considérée par plusieurs chercheurs comme la chef de l'Akazu, cercle restreint au sommet de l'Etat accusé d'avoir planifié le génocide.
En général moins médiatisées, les "présidentes" occupent toutefois "un rôle de premier plan au sein du pouvoir", estime le responsable français, pour qui Antoinette SassouNguesso (au Congo) "n'enfile pas que des perles" et Monique Bozizé (en Centrafrique) "ne fait pas que du tricot".
Les Premières dames africaines "animent toutes des associations ou des Fondations pour les enfants ou les malades qui ont souvent un budget supérieur à celui du ministère de la Santé", souligne Antoine Glaser, spécialiste de l'Afrique francophone.
Elle servent de relais politique et peuvent apporter une assise électorale: comme Antoinette SassouNguesso, "qui est de la région (pétrolifère) de Pointe-Noire (ouest) alors que son mari (le président Denis SassouNguesso) est du Nord", explique-t-il.
Ces femmes puissantes cherchent aussi à s'assurer de la pérennité de leur pouvoir, en essayant de "favoriser des successions dynastiques, comme Viviane Wade", la blonde épouse française du président sénégalais qui rêve de donner la présidence en héritage à son fils Karim, selon M. Glaser.
La plus puissante reste Simone Gbagbo, considérée comme une dure du régime et indéfectible soutien au président sortant de Côte d'Ivoire Laurent Gbagbo, dont la communauté internationale exige le départ. Surnommée "La Dame de sang" par ses ennemis, elle est ouvertement accusée par la famille de Guy-André Kieffer, journaliste franco-canadien disparu en 2004 à Abidjan, de n'être "pas très éloignée des escadrons de la mort", alors accusées d'assassinats ciblés d'opposants.
Elle a l'oreille de la rue, notamment des "jeunes patriotes", le rempart populaire de Laurent Gbagbo, et donne le ton de la harangue nationaliste avant même que le président sortant ne s'exprime. Un temps marginalisée par la jeune seconde épouse de M. Gbagbo, "elle a repris tout son ascendant, dans le dispositif de combat, dès que les ennuis ont commencé" pour lui, souligne Antoine Glaser.

The apostle Paul was making sure that he was pure of the blood of the saints and Elders of the City of Ephesus (Acts 20:25-31), having declared unto them the whole counsel of God, hiding nothing, not ceasing to warn everyone night and day with tears (1 Cor. 15:1, Rom. 11:22, Heb. 10:26, James 5:20, Rev. 2:5-3:4, 22:14-19, cut off, Mat. 24:12-13, saved, Ez:33:13) while he was yet with them; In contrast, your visits to Quebec are more remembered by the jokes you crack while amongst your sinning friends (like the one about Sam Lecompte’s initials on the carpet of the Sheraton Hotel in Laval). Meanwhile, 28 years have gone by since you gave this message to the PAOC Assemlies in obedience to the Holy Spirit, and thanks to your silence, two generations of saints are ignorant of God’s warning (my people perish for lack of knowledge). The church as we know it today began with repentance. When Peter preached the cross at Pentecost, thousands came to Christ. This new church was made up of one body, consisting of all races, filled with love for one another. Its corporate life was marked by evangelism, a spirit of sacrifice, even martyrdom.
The wonderful beginning reflects God's word to Jeremiah: "I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed" (Jeremiah 2:21). Yet the Lord's next words describe what often happens to such works: "How then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me?" (2:21). God was saying, "I planted you right. You were mine, bearing my name and nature. But now you've turned degenerate."
What caused this degeneration in the church? It always has been, and will continue to be, idolatry. God is speaking of idolatry when he says to Jeremiah, "My people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit" (2:11).
Most Christian teaching today identifies an idol as anything that comes between God's people and himself. Yet that's only a partial description of idolatry.
Idolatry has to do with a much deeper heart issue. The number-one idol among God's people isn't adultery, pornography or alcohol. It's a much more powerful lust. What is this idol? It's a driving ambition for success. And it even has a doctrine to justify it.
The idolatry of being successful describes many in God's house today. These people are upright, morally clean, full of good works. But they've set up an idol of ambition in their hearts, and they can't be shaken from it.
God loves to bless his people. He wants his people to succeed in all they undertake honestly. But there is now a raging spirit in the land that is overtaking multitudes-this is the spirit of love for recognition and acquiring of things.
A man of the world said recently, "He who dies with the most toys- wins." Tragically, Christians, too, are caught up in this pursuit. How far we have strayed from the gospel of living through dying to self, ego, and worldly ambition. The church as we know it today began with repentance. When Peter preached the cross at Pentecost, thousands came to Christ. This new church was made up of one body, consisting of all races, filled with love for one another. Its corporate life was marked by evangelism, a spirit of sacrifice, even martyrdom.
The wonderful beginning reflects God's word to Jeremiah: "I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed" (Jeremiah 2:21). Yet the Lord's next words describe what often happens to such works: "How then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me?" (2:21). God was saying, "I planted you right. You were mine, bearing my name and nature. But now you've turned degenerate."
What caused this degeneration in the church? It always has been, and will continue to be, idolatry. God is speaking of idolatry when he says to Jeremiah, "My people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit" (2:11).
Most Christian teaching today identifies an idol as anything that comes between God's people and himself. Yet that's only a partial description of idolatry.
Idolatry has to do with a much deeper heart issue. The number-one idol among God's people isn't adultery, pornography or alcohol. It's a much more powerful lust. What is this idol? It's a driving ambition for success. And it even has a doctrine to justify it.
The idolatry of being successful describes many in God's house today. These people are upright, morally clean, full of good works. But they've set up an idol of ambition in their hearts, and they can't be shaken from it.
God loves to bless his people. He wants his people to succeed in all they undertake honestly. But there is now a raging spirit in the land that is overtaking multitudes-this is the spirit of love for recognition and acquiring of things.
A man of the world said recently, "He who dies with the most toys- wins." Tragically, Christians, too, are caught up in this pursuit. How far we have strayed from the gospel of living through dying to self, ego, and worldly ambition. (James 5:20, Death to souls that sin by erring from the truth, Heb. 12:14, without holiness NO ONE shall see the Lord, 1 Cor. 15:1, saved by the Gospel if you keep it as Paul preached it, unless you have believed IN VAIN, Rom. 11:22, unfaithful Gentile branches cut off like the Jewish branches, Rev. 3:1, a name of being alive, but you are dead, dying unless strengthened, Rev. 22:14-19, Gal. 5:20, no entry for garments defiled by the works of the flesh, Mark 9:47-51, salt that has lost its flavor cast into Hell, Mat. 7:21-23, him only, 24:12-13, saved, 24:45-51, good and faithful or cut to pieces, hypocrites, wicked servants, not redeeming their souls, Acts 20:25-31, pure of the blood of the elders of the City of Ephesus, Heb.10:26, sinning wilfully, 2 Tim. 4:1-4, turning ears away from the truth, Titus 1:5-14, not ordaining elders in every City, but attaching themselves to the commandments of men who turn away from tha truth) SOURCE - http://www.worldchallenge.org/en/node/11167 (c)2010 World Challenge, Inc.
